Pray for the world.

As you know the world is suffering.
Thousands of death.
Tsunami, earthquake, radiation.
And now, an aftermath earthquake.
Libya, human beings are killed.
Wars, conflicts, natural disasters.

After what I've seen, I can't describe how fortunate I felt, living with my family RIGHT NOW.
When someone out there is finding for their loved ones, their homes. Someone out there is grieving when you're smiling, laughing.
It's not a time for us to fight among ourselves, we need to work together as one.
Do your part to save the world.
Let's make the world stronger and fix it back.
They are helping and you should too.

Day 2: Shiroi Koibito, the chocolate factory.

Day 2, another new day in Japan.
OUR MAIN ITINERARY FOR TODAY IS
THE SHIROI KOIBITO FACTORY, 白い恋人.

Woke up around 7am with heavy eyelids ):
A heavy breakfast at the hotel.
It has quite a limited choice of food..

Salad, omelet and miso soup :)

After breakfast, we set off to train station to our next stop, THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY.
If you have been to Hokkaido, you will know that Hokkaido is famous for their chocolate factory cuz they only make 100k chocolate per day.
And it's really damn delicious, the chocolate biscuit. I'm not lying, really !

their different city.

Train ticket. It's around SGD 4.50 -.-
I can tap in and out 20 times in sg mrt.

Nanboku line!

when we arrived at the city where the chocolate factory is.

uber cute doggy :)

preparing a shot on the pile of white clear snow

yes, we're foreigners :)

hell yeah! Arrogant looks xP

FINALLY I CAN SEE THE FACTORY after much walking.

Once we enter the factory ..

a tiny little cottage with tiny furniture!

They welcomed us and gave us some information booklet along with a milk biscuit.

yummy chocolate biscuit.

Pretty chandelier

it's a pretty place :)

the thousands of machine needed for a small little chocolate/milk biscuit.
No wonder, it tastes so awesome.
Definitely gonna buy some back home !

Tiny cute sugar crafts :)

It's not just a chocolate factory, there's also antique toys museum and Gramophones.

Go back to the 80s, the old days.
Retroooo~

Super tiny chair and my butt's not stuck alright!

Doesn't it looked like some kind of concert yeah?
But it's actually a small wall that is fit onto the wall at the side of the stairs.
Mad cute :)
Play the video and you'll know how cute is it !

The gramophones.

After looking at the authentic gramophones, we slowly walked down to the toy area.

Astro boy!

Tryna imitate that scary-looking yet cool motor toy ! xD

Michael Jackson toys :)

And there's this little prank when you step onto a small tile area, a scary-looking monster will pop out right before your eyes in a dull mirror, somewhat illusion.
Of course, that monster scare the hell out of everyone .

MICKEY MOUSE!

Astro boy!

Snoppy!

Muppets and Elmo!

These toys really do let us recall our childhood.
Playing toys and watching cartoons.

Walked out of the antique toy area and saw many statues around.

Now it's time for some shopping for choco/milk biscuit!
Pre Order ขนมญี่ปุ่นสุดฮิต > Pre Order ** Shiroi Koibito คุกกี้วานิลลาสอดไส้ White Chocolate และ Milk Chocolate จากฮอกไกโด
the metal box is pretty but effing expensive.
for more information about ISHIYA, shiroi Koibito click here
1 piece of this tiny choco/milk biscuit actually cost SGD1++ -.-

AND THEN WE HAD ICE CREAM AGAIN!
Smooth and cooling ice cream.

leaving the chocolate factory ):

Afterwards, we split into two groups.
Everyone has their individual likings, some want to shop and some want to sight-seeing.
Soo, for me I went to shop xD

First, we walked back to the hotel and put down all the things we bought at the chocolate factory.
Then we set off to eat at the subway of the hotel, which is the underground tunnel that links to the train station.

Katsudon !

Udon!

Look at the bowls that are stacked up, big eater.
Japanese are actually quite big eaters y'know but they still have good figures prolly cuz their food is healthier than those in Singapore.

NOW IT'S TIME FOR SOME SHOPPING, WOOTS.
I didn't had much expectation to buy lots of things cuz y'know Japan, their stuff are damn friggin' expensive.
Unbelievably, there are nice clothes that I can afford, xD
Like uniqlo ..
This are what sold in Japan's Uniqlo.
I bought Bigbang's shirts, one for only SGD22. Much cheaper than those in Singapore.
I thought that Uniqlo will be effing expensive and I'm totally wrong.
A nice denim shirt, 15 bucks. AND A LEATHER VEST, 10 bucks only.
GAWD! awesomeeeeeeeee!

Shopped till we turn xiao, smile :) LOL.
Alright, I bought many many tops and bottoms!
This shopping trip is all worth spending my time.

huge hello kitty, uber cute!

we then headed to Loft.
too many cute plushie for us to cuddle!

After so much walking, our stomach started to grumble ):
Went to eat Ramen !
Damn shiok seafood ramen that cost SGD 15 -.-
The brown thing is bamboo shoots and it stinks a lot.
Oh, forgot to mention that there's a lot of bean sprout ):
Best fried rice eva! It's quite a small portion as this is a set.

After dinner, we got back to our hotel.
The other group went to some beer museum ( we went there on another day, imma post it on another post )
We had our usual small party this time at my hotel room.
Everyone brought their food and had supper, then we chit-chat.

The second day end off like this.

2 days down, 6 more days to go !
catch with ya some other time !
CIAO!
